Son of William Christopher Orr and Alice Orr nee Riordan of John Street, Windsor, QLD.

Commenced return to Australia on 15 Jamuary 1919 aboard HT Orsova disembarking on 20 February 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane by boat.

On 8 November 1927 Thomas married Ellen Agnes Condren in QLD
