Parents: - Emmanuel Fowler and Mary Jane Board (married 25th November 1882 in Druitt Town, New South Wales), of Church St., Carlingford, New South Wales.
Private Fowler also had two brothers who also served: Sidney Fowler (1896-1982), and Herbert Cecil Fowler (1898-1917), who was killed in action in France.
