Brother of James Verney who returned to Australia on 27 January 1919 having served with the 5th Divisional Train

Commenced return to Australia on 8 May 1919 aboard HT Devanha disembarking at Sydney on 26 June 1919 for onward travel to Brisbane

Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

On 24 February 1926 Grayston married Bridget Agnes Crowe in QLD
