Private C. S. Keen reported wounded in the recent fighting at the Dardanelles is a nephew of Mr. E. Keen of Devonport, being a son of Mr. Keen's twin brother. The last named took part in the South African war under General Buller. Mr. C. Keen was at the time residing in South Africa, and he went through several engagements.
The youngest brother, Mr. A. Keen, also participated in the same war, and was the only Tasmanian to take part in the relief of Mafeking.
In the present war, Mr. Keen has four nephews in the ranks.
