Son of Albert Osmond and Elizabeth Mary Osmond nee O'Rourke of Newtown, Sydney, NSW
Brother of William Osmond who returned to Australia on 21 February 1919 having served with the 17th Battalion
Marital status at the time of enlistment was given as Widower. Next of kin given as his daughter A. Osmond of Hordern Street Newtown, NSW.
During 1916c Alfred married Florence Daisy Morgan of Victoria Cottages, Sandicombe Road, Kew Gardens, London, England. Florence was then made next of kin.
