1/5/1915         appointed to 'D' Company, 22nd Battalion A.I.F

10/5/1915       embarked from Port of Melbourne, onboard HMAT Ulysses

13/5/1915       transferred to 'C' Company, 22nd Battalion A.I.F (at Sea)
10/6/1915       disembarked at Alexandria, Egypt for camp at Heliopolis

6/8/1915         transferred to 5th Field Company Engineers

3/9/1915         embarked onboard "Knight Templar" for Lemnos Island- Mudras
13/9/1915       embarked for ANZAC Cove, Gallipoli - landed same day

16/12/1915     evacuated to Lemnos Island (Mudras)
