Joseph Ambrose Sylvester Halcroft was son to Mary Ann nee Costello and Richard Halcroft Junior of Molong, He was Grandson to Mary Ann nee George and Richard Halcroft Snr of Molong also grandson of Ellen Costello nee Fitzgerald and of Edward Costello formerly of Bathurst who Died 1863 due to a Horse Riding Accident....he was Sibling to Ellen Halcrfot who died as Infant 1891 in Cargo, Dorothy Leader nee Halcroft, John Francis Halcroft..Plus by his Mothers 2nd Marriage Ethel Heaton nee Gannon, Edward Harold Gannon who also served in France ww1, Thomas Joseph Edward Gannon who died 1904 as an infant..His Mother Mary Ann Gannon nee Costello died 1926 and is Buried at Rookwood Old RC Cemetery alongside his sister Ethel Heaton...He is well remembered today by the Family he never got to meet...
