Embarkation Roll (www.awm.gov.au) has erroneously recorded Christian name as James
"News was received at Tambellup last week that Trooper J. T. Miniter (Joe), had died of fever whilst on active service with the 10th Light Horse. Joe was one of the earliest to enlist from the district, and had gone right through without mishap until he contracted fever. He was a most promising young man, a good farmer, and one who took a great interest in the Agricultural Society and other forward movements." - from the Perth Sunday Times 10 Nov 1918 (nla.gov.au)
