His parents were Frederick THEWLIS & Catherine Maria ROBERTS

1. Archie THEWLIS (SN 2407) 38th Infantry Battalion WW1, returned to Australia in 1917 - he also served in WW2 (SN V4918) and was discharged in 1945

2. Eric THEWLIS (SN 69) 22nd Infantry Battalion, returned to Australia in 1919

3. Roy THEWLIS (SN V361440) WW2 - Lieutenant, 14th Infantry Battalion, Volunteer Defence Corp - discharged 1943
