Son of Daniel O'Connor and Mary Ann O'Connor nee Kelly of Carrajung via Rosedale, Victoria. 

Commenced return to Australia on 12 May 1918 aboard HT Ruahine disembarking on 5 July 1918 at Sydney for onward travel to Melbourne.
