Reginald was born in Fremantle 1894 to parents William Herbert Kenworthy and Rosemary (nee Kerr) Kenworthy and was one of 6 known siblings.

He would along with his brother Victor George Kenworthy both joined on 7th December 1915 at Perth and Reginald would first go into the 10th A.L.H.R and Victor into Imperial Camel Corp 1st ANZAC Bn.

Reginald would also be transferred to the 3rd Bn Camel Corp and onto the ANZAC Mounted Divisional Train AASC and return to Fremantle on 16th July 1919 aboard the Essex and be discharged in Perth on 30th August 1919.

He would marry in 1919 at Perth to Hilda Beatrice nee Brown.

Reginald died at Hollywood Hospital age 66 years.
