News has come through from France of the death of Private. N.L. McDonald, who died from wounds on the 14th May. He is the fifth son of Mr. and Mrs. McDonald, of Yannathan. He has two brothers at the front and one just lately gone into camp. He was married in March last year to Tilly, the only daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. McFarlane, late of Modella, but now living in Longwarry. Great sympathy is felt for his parents and widow in their sad loss.
