4 Oct 1917: | Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 6555, 6th Infantry Battalion, Broodseinde Ridge, Wilfred received a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was removed from the field and eventually arrived at the 3rd Canadian Clearing Station. Unfortunately however, the medical staff could not save him as his wounds were too severe.
