Reported Missing
Mr Olding has received word that his son, Private Ray F. Olding, has been reported missing. In a short note to his brother, written on March 25th, Pte Olding, who was then 'somewhere in France,' says he "struck two Scottsdale boys, Chas. Eastman and Col. Chugg, two good fellows, and both look well.' His brother Private Roy Olding, was then in England. Since this soldier's note was written, Col. Chugg has been reported missing, and C. Eastman wounded. Both Roy and Ray Olding belong to St Patrick's River, and are well known in Scottsdale.
