Arthur John Mollison received from the French Republic the Silver Médaille de la Reconnaissance française, july the 3rd 1919, as:
" Medical Officer of the 2nd Australian Division. Cared for the civilian population of Bazieux with dedication during a measles epidemic in February 1917; spent 19 months providing medical care to the inhabitants of Albert and Armentières (France). "
