"...6330 Pte Francis Charles Henry Slee, 16th Battalion. Farm labourer prior to enlisting on 8 March 1916, ...embarked from Fremantle with the 20th Reinforcements on board HMAT Suffolk (A23) on 13 October 1916... arrived in France on 29 December 1916... Pte Francis Slee, aged 19, died on 11 June 1917 of wounds received in action in France." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
