Ernest Septimus HURMAN was born in Normanton, Queensland on 14th January, 1888

His parents were Charles HURMAN & Priscilla Mary BARNARD

He enlisted in Brisbane on 28th September, 1914 & embarked with the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade, 1st reinforcements on 21st December, 1914 on the ship HMAT Barambah

Ernest died of pneumonia on 24th October,  1918 & is buried in Hamburg Cemetery
