Died on this date - 25th July .....Private Alexander Edmund Gibson was born at Ingliston, Victoria in 1890.
He was a Grocer when he enlisted on 22nd February, 1915 & was posted to 8th Battalion.
On 6th August, 1915 Private Gibson joined 8th Battalion at Anzac. After recovering from Jaundice he was transferred to 60th Battalion.
Private Alexander Edmund Gibson was wounded on 19th July, 1916 at Fromelles. He was invalided to England but died from his wounds on 25th July, 1916.
He was buried in Southern Cemetery, Manchester, England.
