"LATE PTE. J. McGREGOR.

News was received at Melrose on Friday that Pte. John McGregor was killed in action in France. Pte. McGregor was the second son of Mr. J. McGregor, of Melrose. He enlisted earlylast year, and sailed for the front 18 months ago. Pte. McGregor was a splendid rifle shot, and in the A.I.F. he won a medal for shooting.
