Biography

"...2374 Private Stanley James Carraill, 19th Battalion, of Tungkillo, SA. Pte Stanley Carraill enlisted on 24 July 1915 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Themistocles on 5 October 1915. He was killed in action in France, on 14 November 1916, aged 25. Pte Stanley Carraill had two younger brothers Leslie and Alexander who served with the AIF and were killed in action." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
