Husband of Ida Vera Owen nee Palmer of Verran Avenue, Hilton, SA. Peter and Ida married on 6 May 1911 in Methodist Church, Moseley Street, Glenelg, SA. His residential address at the time of his death was Mile End, SA.

Commenced return to Australia on 20 December 1917 aboard HT Runic disembarking on 12 February 1918 at Melbourne then overland to Adelaide
