Wilfred Henry Stevens was the son of William Henry and Elizabeth Stevens nee Dunstan. He married Ethel May Berry at West Bromwich Staffordshire, England during WWI. Wilfred also enlisted in WW2, lowering his age to qualify. His service number was NX65202 joining the  Signals 9th Division. He died from multiple gunshot wounds on 5 May 1941. The words on his headstone chosen by his family acurately descibes him "Loved by all who knew him". To the descendants of Wilfred he is descibed as "OUR HERO".
