Pte HERBERT WILFRED (Bert)DOBSON, 
Born 19 January 1896 Westbury Tasmania to George and Charlotte Dobson (nee Hingston) a farmer who departed Melbourne 23rd September 1916 on board “HMAT Seang Choon” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
He died at the 3rd New Zealand Field Ambulance from wounds received at Messines and was buried Underhill Farm Cemetery, Belgium
