Youngest Son
In researching my family history, I came across my great grandmothers sister and her family.
Nicholas Edward (Eddie) was the youngest son on John and Margaret O'Brien and the first of his siblings to die.
He had 2 sisters, Mary Ellen McIntyre and Aileen Francis Duncan and 5 brothers, Michael Patrick, John Joseph, Terence Francis, William Alphonsu and Robert James.
His wife name was Hilda Emma and they had 2 children, Edward and Irene.
His father, John O'Brien died tragically in 1892 on Nicholas's 4th birthday.
One day I hope to visit his grave in France to honour him.

Biography
Until 3 months ago I never heard of Nicholas or his sibling's. It was my family reasearch to find my great grandmother's sister, Margaret O'brien that I discovered the story of my grandfather's first cousins.
Nicholas Edward (Eddie) O'Brien was the youngest son of John and Margaret O'Brien. He had two sisters, Mary Ellen McIntyre and Aileen Francis Duncan, and five brothers, Michael Patrick, John Joseph, Terence Francis, William Alphonsu and Robert James. Eddie married Hilda Emma Carr, and together had two children, Edward William and Irene May.
I am still researching and hope to find out more about his short life. - John Kelly
