Son of Arthur Unwin and Mary Unwin of Branxton, NSW.
26 September 1919 - enlisted at Armidale with the 46th Battalion and with the rank of Private
Commenced return to Australia on 22 August 1919 aboard HT Anchises disembarking on 13 October 1919
7 December 1919 - discharged at the 2nd Military District as medically unfit.
