Son of William Henry Ovenden and Eliza Jane Ovenden nee Brown of Carlton, Victoria.
During 1908c Henry married Lucy Isobel Lond in Victoria.
Commenced return to Australia on 20 July 1919 aboard HT Morvada disembarking on 25 August 1919
