Son of Walter & Grace CRUMP of 22 Mayfield Street, Coburg, Vic.

Promoted to Lieutenant in France on 16th August 1916.  Wounded, shell-shock and concussion in France on 19th July 1916.  Discharged as medically unfit 07 February 1917.

Re-enlisted in Dental Corps 5th Sept 1917 and was discharged 28th May 1919
