Son of Rachel and Richard. The Roberts family were residents of Cowell for many years. Les was a committed and hard working Committee Member of RSL Cowell for many years. He and 5 of his brothers enlisted in WW1. His mother and sister were at centre of fundraising and comforts for the soldiers during both wars.
