DRIVER A. D. OLD.
Driver A. D. Old writing to his mother, Mrs. E. Old, of Collector, says:— "I am quite well. I received your letter, also the Penny Post, and read with interest the account of several items. I have a lot of letters to answer, but goodness knows when I will do it, as we don't get much time to write here, now we are back to that place where we were before — you will know where I mean — where most of the fighting is being done. It is fairly rough, too. It is so wet now. I haven't seen any of the Collector boys yet, but I may see Jack and Harry Sheridan any day now. They are over here. I had a letter from Jack a couple of days ago. (Mrs. Barber has three brothers on active service. Two of them were in the Goulburn Camp.)
