Son of John William Blang Cooper and Miriam Ann Cooper nee Robinson of Reid's Creek of Gayndah, QLD
Next of kin given as his brother Walter Cooper of Reid's Creek, Gayndah, QLD. Walter also enlisted and died of wounds on 11 October 1917 while serving with the 49th Battalion and has no known grave. His name appears on Menin Gate, Ypres, Belgium
Commenced return to Australia on 19 April 1919 aboard HT Marathon disembarking on the 11 June 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to QLD
