Biography contributed by Faithe Jones
Mr. and Mrs. F. Brealey, of Narracoorte, have received news that their eighth son, Private STANLEY THOMAS BREALEY, aged 19 years and four months, was killed in action on August 30. The deceased enlisted in September, 1916, and sailed for the front in November of the same year, being attached to the 11th Reinforcements of the 32nd Battalion. Two other sons of Mr. and Mrs. Brealey have been killed at the war, two have returned, and there is still one fighting there. Six of their sons, therefore, responded to the call of duty for the Empire.
