His parents were George WALLIS & Annie ARMSTRONG
He enlisted in Melbourne on 18th January, 1915 and embarked with the 14th Infantry Battalion, 5th reinforcements on 17th April, 1915 on the HMAT Hororata
He was Killed in Action at Gallipoli on 21st August, 1915 - no known grave
