"POWER, John Joseph, late of Douglas Street, Milton.— Passed peacefully away on Friday, 4th of July, under the gentle care of the Nursing Mothers of Canossa House, Gregory Terrace. Loving Husband of Josephine, Father of Mary, Kath, Jim, Patricia, Richard, (John, and Joseph, deceased). R.I.P." - from the Courier Mail 08 Jul 1952 (nla.gov.au)
