Son of William Henry O'Meara and Mary Ellen O'Meara nee Burton of Old South Head Road, Bondi Junction, NSW.

Commenced return to Australia on 11 January 1918 aboard HT Port Darwin disembarking on 4 March  1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney
