HE DIED AN AUSTRALIAN HERO THE GRANDEST DEATH OF ALL
BARRAS - Killed in action on 17th October No. 19556, Gunner Edward Heron Barras, 8th Field Artillery Brigade, after two years and five months' active service, dearly loved eldest son of Maggie and the late G.E. Baras, corner Omar street and Hawthorn road, Caulfield, late of 14 Donald street, Prahran.
