This section came under very heavy shell fire. One of the gun teams bolted and Sgt. Hunt promptly rushed up and eventually brought this team to a standstill. He then led all the teams under cover. He kept up a supply of ammunition under very difficult and trying circumstances, and rendered very valuable services. Previously during the operations round BELLICOURT from 29th.
