Son of Herbert Cecil DIXON and Alice Mary DIXON nee YOUNG, c/o Gas Company, Geelong, Victoria
Cecil was wounded 3/11/1917 with telegrams sent to this next of kin, his employer George MacGillivray, the local chemist.
"Now Reported Private Cecil Dixon Admitted Fifthfourth General Hospital France Third November Gunshot Wound Right Thigh Haemorrhage Dangerous."
He was wounded again 25/3/1918 with GSW Right Shoulder Mild and admitted Edmonton General Hospital London.
Cecil was discharged from the AIF 29/11/1918 and returned to Australia per "Karoola"
