13 May 1915: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 1654, 12th Infantry Battalion, ANZAC / Gallipoli, GSW to thigh, severing femoral artery. Admitted to the Greek Hospital in Alexandria, where his leg was amputated. Gangrene later set in and he died of his wounds on 28 May 1915.
