Son of Frederick Charles Thompson of 220 Walton Road, East Molesey, Surrey, England.

Brother of Charles Thompson who was killed in action on 6 August 1916 while serving with the 45th Battalion and is buried in the Delville Wood Cemetery. Plot X111, Row P, Grave 4
