Derwent Pearce FLOCKART was born in Casterton, Victoria on 3rd September, 1894

His parents were Robert Munday FLOCKART & Henrietta PEARCE

He enlisted with the No. 2 Australian Flying Corp Head Quarters on 10th June, 1916 and embarked on the HMAT Ulysses on 25th October, 1916 - he was transferred to the 69th Squadron and later the No. 5 Training Squadron

He married Edith Briscoe MacNEILL on 2nd December, 1926 at the Trinity Presyberian Churchh in Camberwell, Victoria

Derwent died in Hobart on 12th June 1970 (Cremation)

His brother Robert Pearce FLOCKART served during WW1 as a Captain and died at sea in the hospital ship Gascon from wounds received at Gallipoli
