Biography

Private Horace Sutcliffe, service number 5168 was in the 49th Battalion Australian Infantry 1914-1918 war. He was killed in action 2 August 1918 aged 25. He was born at Charters Towers, Queensland, the son of Samuel and Bertha Sutcliffe, of Ayr, Queensland.
