Mr. J. C. Quigley, recently a signal man in the traffic branch, has been appointed guard on the Adelaide-Port Adelaide, with headquarters at the latter station.

THE LATE PRIVATE J. C. QUIGLEY.
The late Private J. C. Quigley was killed on May 4. He enlisted in September, 1916, and previous to enlisting was employed as a guard on the South Australian railways in Adelaide. He was for a long time as signalman at different places on the Cockburn line, and was a married man, but left no children. He was 35 years old.

QUIGLEY.— On the 4th May, killed in action in France, Private James Cornelius Quigley, 27th Battalion, dearly loved husband of Nellie Quigley (nee Short), 80, Morphett-street, Adelaide. His duty nobly done. (Late S.A.R.)
