Word was received at Bull! on Saturday from the Defence Department that David Goble had been killed at the Dardanelles. He was a fine young fellow, and was much esteemed by  all who knew him. The family consisted of Dave, his brother, and mother, and when the call of his country came, it was decided that one of the two should go. Several letters had been received from the deceased giving interesting descriptions of Egyptian life, and the news that he had been killed on the Turkish peninsula was received with much sorrow and regret.
