Son of Michael O'Dwyer and Mary O'Dwyer of Swift Street, Murrumburrah, NSW.
While in Egypt Frank was admitted to the Australian General Hospital Heliopolis suffering from a severe case of hydatis of the liver.
Commenced return to Australia from Suez on 3 March 1916 aboard HT Argyllshire disembarking on 30 March 1916 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.
