Husband of Mona Evelyn Coghill Osborne nee Maddrell of 'Bedervale', Braidwood, NSW. Duncan and Mona married during 1906 in Sydney, NSW

Commenced return to Australia on 16 March 1919 aboard HT Euripides disembarking on 20 April 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney
