10 Oct 1919: | Honoured Military Medal, 'During the attack east of MONT ST. QUENTIN near PERONNE, on 2nd September 1918, this N.C.O's Company was advancing under a very heavy artillery and machine gun fire, and casualties were very severe. All the Company Officers had been killed or wounded. C.S.M. HENRY, although also wounded, led the Company with great determination and skill, and succeeded after fierce fighting, in gaining the objective.'
