Ashley Austin FARLEY was born in Gloucester, NSW on 9th September, 1898

His parents were Samuel Alfred FARLEY & Bertha Marie SAXBY who married in Washpool, NSW on 26th December 1895

He married Laura Emilie (Amelia) GOLL in Brisbane on 15th January, 1924 - 7 children

He served in both WW1 and WW2 (see service details for more information)

Ashley died of Illness in Wondai, Queensland on 3rd November, 1946 and is buried in the Wondai Cemetery

His son Mervyn Austin FARLEY served during WW2 with the Army (210464) discharged 1944 (20th Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps) and the RAAF (435846) discharged 1945 (1 Wireless Gunnery school) - he died on 30th November, 2016 late of Cazna Gardens, Sunnybank Hills, Queensland
