Born at Newcastle, New South Wales on the 24th September 1884 to Joshua (died 1888) and Caroline (died 1924, Ashfield, N.S.W.) Wrigley of 185 Devonshire Street, Surry Hills, N.S.W.; husband of Florence Evelyn Wrigley nee Corfield (married 1912, Petersham, N.S.W., died 1939, Redfern, N.S.W. of Yarra Bay, N.S.W.), Arthur enlisted December 1914 at Lismore, N.S.W.
His name has been inscribed on The Capt. Clarence Smith Jeffries (V.C.) and Pte. William Matthew Currey (V.C.) Memorial Wall, and unfortunately I have not located his name on any other known War Memorial or Roll of Honour.
For reasons unknown, Arthur’s Attestation Papers stated he was not married.
Wife Florence Wrigley was living at Frazer Street, Lewisham, N.S.W. at the time of Arthur's death.
Resting at Shell Green Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey. Plot I Row C Grave 15.
Memorialised at his father’s gravesite. ANGLICAN 1-21. 58.
