Denis Llewellyn Oscar STUBBS was born in Hobart, Tasmania on 22nd November, 1891
His parents were Thomas James STUBBS & Ada Catherine PULFER
He married Ida Maud BURN in Hobart on 31st December, 1915
He had enlisted in Claremont, Tasmania on 10th September 1915 & embarked with the 12th Infantry Battalion, 13th Reinforcements on 5th January, 1916 on the ship HMAT Afric from Melbourne
Denis was Killed in Action on 4th September, 1916
