Son of Donald Urquhart and Jean Urquhart of Dunedin, NZ.
Next of kin given as his sister Margaret Stewart of Calder Street, St Kilda, Dunedin, NZ.
13 January 1915 - enlisted at Liverpool, NSW, with the 2nd Divisional Ammunition Column with the rank of Gunner.
6 September 1915 - transferred to the 2nd Field Artillery Brigade
5th October 1915 - commenced return to Australia aboard HT Themistocles
Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal
15 August 1916 - discharged at the 2nd Military District as medically unfit due to enteric and heart issues.
